Hazel is a teen dependent on cancer fighting drugs that have kept her alive for the last two years, no one is sure how much longer she has to live. When she meets a fellow cancer survivor, Augustus, at a support group, life takes a turn for the better. Their new relationship is plagued by the constant threat of remission and eventual death. Will Hazel overcome her fear of leaving those she loves behind? What will it take for Gus to convince Hazel some things are worth the pain?
Join us to discuss all the ways fear or pain can prevent us from taking the risks that make life worth living.
